NADENE GHOURI
Nadene Ghouri is a multi-award winning journalist specialising in human interest and human rights issues. She is a former correspondent of both the BBC and Al Jazeera English and today is a freelance broadcaster and reporter working for BBC current affairs and leading publications including The Guardian and Mail on Sunday. She is the co-author of two New York Times bestsellers The Favoured Daughter about the life of Afghan human rights activist Fawzia Koofi and Born Into The Children of God with cult survivor Natacha Tormey. The Lightless Sky was named as one of the ‘buzz books’ of the 2105 London book fair and sold for six figure advances in both the US and UK.

RYAN TIAN
Ryan Tian is a young generation, new- rising Chinese film director, who strives for making great visual stories to move you in a way you might not feel before. There is always a huge desire driving him to do the best he can do in filmmaking. He writes scripts, directs, shoots projects and edits them. To create something which can visually move people is always what he determines to achieve.
He has solid professional work experience in production and post-production in short films as well as at London Fashion Week, London Design Festival, commercials, music videos, documentary, and live TV drama and shows.
He currently works as a freelance director/ editor in London.

SELEN ASLAN
Currently studying at London College of Communication. Selen has taken on this challenging role to not only test her organisational skills but to grow as a producer and ensure Ryan produces the best film her possible can.
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
LU JOAN BARNES
13 years experience working in theatre and the arts. I've done everything from Production Managing to Art Direction.
After spending many years working with such wonderful actors, in the theatre, working for a Drama school and running a drama course. I decided to take the lessons I have learned and pull all my experience into film. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art with an MA Distinction Pass in Fiction Directing.

With opportunities to gain experience on on shorts and films such as Ready Player One and A Monster Calls this has enabled a grounding of everything from small budget shorts to large scale block busters.

A US Navy Petty Officer for 4 years, Frank took his technical knowledge and decided to apply it to a more creative outlet.
After completeing a BA in Film and Video at London College of Communication, Frank has gone on to film numerous commercials, short films and 4 feature films.
He has worked with companies such as Adidas, Channel, Nokia, Waitrose just to mention a few. His framing and lighting style make almost anything put in front of his camera enchanting and engaging.
With experience across such a wide range of genre's Frank has the knowledge to turn his hand to almost anything and create what a director desires.

Daniella is currently studying at London College of Communication. She has tried and tested all departments within the filmmaking process but she finds comfort in taking up the role as a 1st Assistant Director. Having been the right-hand person to Ryan Tian in previous work makes the dynamic even stronger. Daniella attempts to grow in this role and would love to develop her skills further.
